Go Inoue
Hi! I am a Ph.D. candidate at Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI), Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, where I am co-advised by Prof. Timothy Baldwin and Prof. Nizar Habash.
I am also affiliated with CAMeL Lab at New York Univesity Abu Dhabi.
My Ph.D. is supported by MBZUAI and the INPEX Scholarship Program.
My research interest is in natural language processing (NLP) and computational linguistics, with a particular focus on cross-lingual transfer across typologically distant languages such as Arabic and Japanese.
I aim to develop data-efficient methods that generalize effectively even when the source and target languages differ significantly in various linguistic dimensions.
Ultimately, my goal is to improve the inclusivity and linguistic coverage of NLP technologies by addressing the challenges posed by language diversity and resource disparity.
Keywords: Cross-lingual transfer, efficient methods for NLP, Arabic NLP
